Our Staff

Bill Glassier BSc. PT

A graduate of Queen’s University, Bill has been practising physiotherapy since 1983. Bill and his wife Nicki have owned and operated Glassier Physiotherapy Clinic since 1996. He brings to the clinic 38 years of knowledge, skill and experience in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory and acquired head injury conditions. Having three sons, Bill has been very involved in hockey and rugby teams at a local level for many years.

Julie McDonald MSc. PT

Julie is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.  She treats a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions as part of our Glassier Physiotherapy team.  Julie graduated from McMaster with her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2001.  She has advanced standing through the College as a rostered Pelvic Physiotherapist. As a Pelvic Physiotherapist, her goal is to provide therapy and support for women suffering many types of pelvic dysfunctions. Julie was born and raised in Wingham.  She grew up very active in the sporting community and enjoys giving back to this community as part of the GPC team.  When she is not working at GPC Julie enjoys time with her husband and children and being part of the local community.

Marc Pittock BA Kin

A graduate of Western University with a Kinesiology degree, Marc grew up in Woodstock, Ontario, living in Toronto, London and Edmonton. Marc moved to Wingham in 1996, and joined Glassier Physiotherapy Clinic in 2000. He specializes in athletic and work-related injuries, focusing on lower back issues. Marc enjoys a variety of sports and outdoor activities with his wife and four children.

Gavin Roberts CAT(C)

Gavin is a Certified Athletic Therapist. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from The University of Western Ontario, before completing his degree in Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College. Gavin is an amazing asset to Glassier Physiotherapy Clinic working in both administration and patient care.

Nicole Jacobs MSc. PT

Nicole graduated from McMaster with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2020. During her studies, she gained experience with all types of orthopedic and neurological conditions in various populations. As a physiotherapist her passion is to empower people to have a healthy relationship with their body through movement and to assist them in meeting their goals, whatever they may be. Raised in Wingham, Nicole has always been active in the sporting community, most notably through figure skating as both a competitive skater and a coach. When not at GPC, you can often find Nicole at the arena, playing soccer or volleyball, or out hiking with her dogs.

Sarah Westra

Sarah Westra is the face of Glassier Physiotherapy.  The lynchpin of any clinic is the amazing front desk staff! Our incredibly organized and hardworking receptionist, Sarah keeps us all in line. Whether she's helping patients book appointments that fit their busy schedule or helping out clients bill their insurance or doing any of the other critical tasks to keep things running smoothly, we are thrilled to have Sarah as part of the team. Sarah enjoys outdoor adventures and camping with her husband and three children. 

Nicki Glassier BA Sc.

After 25 years at Glassier Physiotherapy Clinic with her husband Bill a big portion of Nicki's role as Receptionist/Office Manager has been delegated and handled with expertise to Sarah and Gavin. She still holds a nice big office and keeps tabs on all clinic happenings. Of all her roles her favorite is "Clinic Greeter." Family is still #1 for the Glassiers. Nicki and Bill's three sons, their sons' partners and 2 granddaughters are the joy and excitement in their lives.
